May 30, 2025, PST Inc. (hereinafter “PST”) and Kanagawa Prefecture concluded a collaboration agreement aimed at contributing to the realization of a healthy society with a long life expectancy. This will be achieved by leveraging cutting-edge scientific and technological capabilities centered on Vocal Biomarker Technology, promoting the regional development of voice-based indicators for ME-BYO (Unwellness), and supporting the improvement of ME-BYO through close mutual collaboration. The purpose of this agreement is to help extend the healthy life expectancy of Kanagawa Prefecture residents.

This collaboration will further advance the My ME-BYO INDEX initiative, a 10-year project by Kanagawa Prefecture since 2015 to develop the ME-BYO INDEX, an index of unwellness. It will also enable the use of PST’s proprietary service, MIMOSYS® (Mind Monitoring System), which objectively visualizes stress from voice and is the first ME-BYO brand. MIMOSYS® will be upgraded to a new healthcare platform, VOISLOG® Mi-1 (Mind Function).

Previously, changes and trends in stress were viewable only by the users themselves. With the new VOISLOG® platform, however, third parties (such as user-approved family members, industrial physicians, and other medical professionals) will also be able to access this information as objective indicators of pre-disease conditions, enabling earlier detection of various health risks.

In addition to its existing stress (Mind Function) monitoring, new features include the VOISLOG® Co-series (Cognitive Function), VOISLOG® Sl-series (Sleep Function), and VOISLOG® Or-series (Oral Swallowing Function), among other services that visualize the risk of declining health functions.
In the future, we will promote regional development of the ME-BYO indicator through service development centered on VOISLOG®, and promote improvement of ME-BYO by collaborating with professionals in various fields related to ME-BYO.

This initiative will help address several key social issues:
• Financial challenges arising from the rapid increase in social security costs (medical care, long-term care, pensions, etc.) due to an aging society, by promoting prevention and pre-symptomatic measures to realize a society less prone to illness.
• Health management issues, such as decreased productivity and lost work due to mental health and stress-related disorders, by enabling early detection and response through the visualization of stress.
• The need to promote technological innovation for the global market, by strengthening Japan’s technological capabilities and competitiveness through the development of unique Vocal Biomarker Technology.

PST and Kanagawa Prefecture will work together to promote behavioral change through the social implementation of Vocal Biomarkers, thereby contributing to the steady resolution of these and other emerging social issues.
